Markalmane is our family’s old farmhouse in Malasavara village. It’s not a commercial resort, just a beautiful, lived-in home that we occasionally share with friends and like minded people who want a quiet, real village experience.
We host only one group or family at a time — please message us personally to know if your dates are possible.
A simple Malnad farmhouse in Malasavara village, lovingly kept and opened occasionally to friends and like minded guests who want to experience village life.
“When we renovated and preserved this house, everyone said we should ‘use the space better’ and make it more commercial. We chose the opposite — an old farmhouse, open spaces, trees and a kitchen that always smells of something homely. Markalmane is not a resort. It’s our home in Malasavara, and if you come here, we want you to feel like you are visiting a friend in the village.”
We have 3 simple, comfortable rooms in the old farmhouse. Expect basic comforts, village style — not luxury resort vibes.
